A217 southbound in Reigate reopens

London Road today (yellow sign is for Network Rail overnight work later in the month)

Update 16/11/2017: Surrey County Council says the works are complete.

The southbound A217 in Reigate reopened earlier this morning, Saturday 11 November – although we haven’t yet seen an announcement on whether the work is all done.

Signage and cones have been taken down, including at what was the Raglan Road diversion.

Thames Water began its repairs on a collapsed sewer at the start of the month.

We’ve contacted the company to see if the good news about the re-opening is permanent, but haven’t yet had confirmation.

The Surrey County Council webpage about the works hasn’t yet been updated, as at the time of writing.
