Families and young children can join characters from fairy tales and nursery rhymes in a treasure hunt around the rock garden at Gatton Park on bank holiday Monday, 29 May 2017.
Those following the trail at the event, which runs 1pm – 4pm, might see witches and fairy queens, gnomes and princesses, spinning wheels and glass slippers, or even enchanted animals.
Ideal entertainment for families and young children, the treasure hunt route though the park is suitable for pushchairs.
As in previous years, Gatton Community Theatre will be putting on the event in collaboration with the Gatton Trust.
No booking is required, and tickets are £7.50 per child (plus one accompanying adult free). Additional unaccompanied adults are £7.50.
Tea and fairy cakes will be available at Gatton Hall at the end of the treasure hunt.
All the park and gardens will be open for families to further explore, including the kids’ natural play trail down in the pleasure gardens. Visitors can bring their own picnic.
