Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth will be hosting another family fun day on Sunday 1 July (2018) in aid of local charity campaign George and The Giant Pledge.
The event will take place in the hotel grounds 12 – 4pm. Entertainment will include dance routines from the Reigate School of Ballet, singers from The Unison Choir, a Punch and Judy show, a bouncy castle and a range of stalls to keep everyone happy.
George and The Giant Pledge is a local campaign started by the parents of George Woodall who, aged 4, was diagnosed 18 months ago with a rare form of cancer, for which he’s undergone intensive treatment. The initiative has already raised over £700,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, towards a target of £1 million.
Giles Thomas, Group General Manager at CQK Hotels said:
“We always like to support a local charity and this just stood out to us as the obvious choice. We’ve we’ve got to know the Woodall family over the last year and have really enjoyed hosting some successful events to help them reach their £1million target.
Last year our family fun day was a phenomenal success and this year we held a fantastic Easter egg hunt at Hartsfield Manor.
Our sister hotel, Reigate Manor have hosted three fantastic quiz nights for the charity and we plan to continue supporting them for as long as it takes to help them reach their target”.
Tickets can be bought in advance via the hotel’s event page or purchased on the day, at £2.50 per adult and free of charge for children. All proceeds of ticket sales go directly to the charity.
