Grenadier Guards to perform at The Harlequin, Redhill

The Band of The Grenadier Guards is to perform at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill on Sunday 18 March (2018), with a varied programme including pop, classical and musical numbers.

The event is being promoted by the Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, Cllr Roger Newstead, in aid of Armed Forces charity SSAFA, one of the charities he has chosen for his Mayoral year.

The Mayor said:

“This prestigious event provides a rare opportunity to see one of the world’s premier military bands at close quarters and the varied musical programme offers something for everyone, no matter what your musical taste.

By supporting this event you will also be helping SSAFA Surrey branch to support the needs of service personnel, veterans and their families.

Make sure you book soon to avoid disappointment.”

The band performs at state functions, including royal weddings and Trooping the Colour, and at many social events.  Its musicians are graduates of Britain’s leading music colleges.

The concert takes place at 3pm on Sunday 18 March 2018.  Tickets are £12.50 from the Harlequin box office (or 01737 276500).

Following the concert, the Mayor will host a reception with light refreshments.  Tickets for that are £7.50, available separately by e-mailing Beverley Barry (or call 01737 276249).
