The Gatton Trust is running six sessions for toddlers to experience the outdoors, this June and July (2018), at Gatton Park.

The programme is called the “Little Seeds Forest School”.  Organisers say:

“Join us in the beautiful Cedar Woods, Gatton Park for a fantastic outdoor learning experience.

Toddlers from 2.5 years – 4 years are encouraged to explore and develop their curiosity in nature, building confidence and having a lot of fun together including mud, fire, dens and crafts and safe risk-taking.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

It does involve a walk of about 15mins to and from Cedar Wood.”

Dates are Mondays 4, 11, 18 and 25 June, and then 9 and 16 July.

The block of six sessions costs £48 and has two timeslots: 10am – 12 noon or 1pm – 3pm.

Booking is essential, via www.gattonpark.com, tel: 01737 649066, or email to education@gatton-park.org.uk

Gatton’s website also includes details of other activities for children.
