Reigate Hill, the A217, reopened this evening (Friday 9 March 2018), following a collision on Thursday morning.
No-one was injured in the accident, which involved an HGV and a car, but a large amount of diesel spilled over the road.
A clean-up of the fuel took place on Thursday, but the road closure had to continue until Friday evening to allow for re-surfacing.
