Temporary two-way traffic lights are expected on Reigate Hill from Monday 12 February (2018).
The work could last until Thursday 16 February.
On Friday afternoon a spokesperson for UK Power Networks said:
“Our engineers will be replacing some equipment on our underground electricity network on A217 Reigate Hill, Reigate, to maintain reliable electricity supplies in the local area.
To keep the impact to a minimum we will be manually controlling the temporary traffic lights at peak times and monitoring the traffic flow.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will complete the work as quickly as possible.”
Details of the work can be found on a roadworks.org webpage.
The week is half-term for local schools.
