On Sunday 21 July Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth will be hosting its 2019 charity family fun day, 12 noon – 4pm, in aid of Reigate charity Stripey Stork.
There’ll be plenty to entertain the family, including a Punch and Judy show, a treasure hunt, barbecue, fairground rides, face painters as well as balloon modelling, a choir and an ice cream van.
Tickets are £2.50 for adults, and free of charge for children, and can be purchased in advance via the hotel website or on the door.
The charity that will benefit, Stripey Stork, collects donations of toys, clothes and other essential items for babies and children. After checking that they meet current UK safety standards, the charity rehomes them with local families experiencing hardship, via partner agencies.
Giles Thomas, operations director for the Manor Collection hotel group, said:
“As a group we are always keen to support local charities: we have previously held two successful family fun days for George and The Giant Pledge as well as many quiz nights and other events.
We love offering something different to the locals – our grounds are beautiful, especially in the summer and it’s the perfect place for the family to come along and relax with the family all whilst raising money for a good cause.”
Other events at Hartsfield Manor can be found on its website.
