Organic deli and greengrocer coming to Reigate High Street The former Natwest at 21-23 High Street has been vacant for almost four years

An organic delicatessen and greengrocer is hoping to open “mid-summer” this year, at the former Natwest in Reigate’s High Street.

The family-run venture will be known as “Roka Deli”, owner Sez Saglam has told

Sez announced the purchase of the building on social media channels last May, asking people what sort of business they’d like to see.

His subsequent update in October that the site would be an organic deli and greengrocer was warmly received. The project’s Instagram account quickly became popular, and now has over 1,000 followers.

“We chose Reigate as there was a missing market in organic produce here,” Sez said last week, adding that since last year’s announcements the time has been spent fully refurbishing the building.

Although the building looks like two storeys from the front, much of it is actually four, with the site sitting on a slope.

As well as the commercial space, which has been vacant since Natwest departed in 2018, the building also contains flats.
