Witness appeal after motorcyclist hurt in South Park collision

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a motorbike and a van in South Park, Reigate, on Sunday evening (18 July).

Officers were called to the incident at the Allingham Road / Eastnor Road junction at around 8.15pm.

The collision involved a red Honda motorbike and a black Volkswagen Caddy van.

The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was uninjured.

The road was closed for a number of hours while officers attended the scene.

Police said on Monday afternoon that no arrests had been made, enquiries were ongoing and that the motorcyclist remained in hospital.
