Witness appeal: boy stabbed in foot in Goodworth Road, Redhill

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17 year old boy was stabbed in the foot in Redhill on Saturday evening, 7 April (2018).

The incident took place in the car park on Goodworth Road, at around 9pm.

Police say the boy, in a white Ford Fiesta, was approached by four men wearing balaclavas, and stabbed multiple times in the foot, before they stole his phone and blue jacket.

A dark blue/black BMW containing the men then followed the Fiesta as it left the car park shortly after the incident.

The four men are described as black, and wearing balaclavas.  One was wearing a grey Nike Tracksuit and trainers.

Detective Constable Nicola Dell said yesterday afternoon (Tuesday):

“We are continuing to carry out all necessary lines of enquiry and I would like to reassure the public that we are doing everything we can to find the individuals responsible.

We are appealing for the public’s help with any information they may have about this incident. If you saw anything unusual on Goodworth Road, Redhill involving a white Ford Fiesta and a dark blue/black BMW, or you have any information please contact us.”

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
