Witness appeal after police car and pedestrian in Earlswood collision

A police car responding to a 999 call was involved in a collision with a woman in Earlswood on Friday evening (18 January), but fortunately with no serious harm reported.

Police say the incident happened on the A23 at 7pm when the police car, with blue lights flashing, was “in collision with a pedestrian in the road”.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, was “taken to hospital as a precaution and minor injuries”.

Surrey Police’s Roads Policing Unit are investigating and are urging witnesses to come forward.  Anyone with any information, including dashcam footage can contact them on 101 (999 in an emergency) or use a Surrey Police webpage, quoting reference PR/P19014107.
