Voicerox to give free spring concert

Reigate’s Voicerox Choir will be performing a short concert in the afternoon of Saturday 28 March 2015.

The “Sing into Spring” concert will take place at Reigate Methodist Church, in the High Street, between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 28 March 2015. Doors will open at 2.15pm. Admission is free, with voluntary donations to local charities Reigate Community Centre and Orbit Shed, an inclusive theatre group.

Voicerox say the concert will include a variety of rock and pop songs, with some additional performances from soloists.

Founder and Musical Director Mel Lewis-McDonald said: “Everyone has been working very hard towards this performance since the beginning of the year – and I’m looking forward to them inspiring the audience, with their strong harmonies and fantastic sound.”

The choir, which welcomes all abilities, is now in its sixth year, having been established in 2009.  It has grown to over 160 members.

Recent events include a concert last Christmas  – “Five Gold Sings” – and a concert in August at The Hawth theatre in Crawley.  Both events raised funds for charity.
